About FTP Embroidery

Meet FTP Embroidery

FTP Embroidery started life in the late eighties as a company selling framed prints to pubs around the UK. FTP, which stands for Frame That Photo, is owned and managed by Ray Smith and is based in Sandown on the Isle of Wight.

Around the time of the 1998 Football world cup in France, Ray responded to demand by branching out into embroidery and selling embroidered England shirts. A move to the Spithead business estate meant more space and increased production.

Fast turnaround and good service combined with competitive prices saw business increasing all the time, and a few years later FTP Embroidery moved to its current home with the addition of several embroidery machines to cope with the growing demand. The company specialises in personalised garments, uniforms and workwear and even though it is busier than ever, Ray and his team keep a keen eye on every garment that they produce to ensure consistent quality and performance.
